    I write to express my profound sadness at the death of Alija Izetbegovic. May God hold him in the Palm of His Hand.

 I went to Church today at Noon and led the Congregation in a prayer for the President:

 
fab: For a friend of mine who has died, let us pray to the Lord.
 

church: Lord hear our Prayer.

 
But as I told the Young Muslims, there is a special place in Heaven for those who have gone to prison for their religious beliefs. The President is already there.
Once again, on behalf of all Bosnians, please accept my sincere condolences.
